Oh, but my dear! YOU'RE having a heart attack? I think I'M having a heart attack! I'm freaking out my friends in class right now! I'm trying hard not to squeal, and simply settle for laughing like a madman! I'm doing prety well, actually. XD

You have no idea how exhilarated I am right now! This is the very, very first fanart I've ever gotten from my stories. And it is amazing too! I'm beyond words for happiness.

Your coloring style is reminiscent of a style I've always wanted to try out, but never got around to. Man, I WISH I could draw like you too! This is too great for a lowly writer like me.... T__T AUGH, I can't even think straight anymore.

I really don't know what you're so worried about in the first place. You saw my drawing style, so you should know what will impress me! Your level of competence is so much higher than mine in drawing. XD This blows me away.

I mean--aaah, his hair! i want to know how to color like that. The red hints of it... man, I'm so envious!

The overall simplicity is actually very appreciated. The fact that you can't really see the "fire" that he was supposed to be sitting in front if it, and opting for a more pure background is actually really nice. The focus immediately goes to Sasuke--then out of pure curiousity, that little piece of paper he's holding.

I dare to say that you might even think of looking at the paper than even Sasuke. I admit to doing that. But maybe because I know what that picture is supposed to be. XD I really wish I could read the words too, but I can't quite... squint close eough. Haha.

The only thing, perhaps of complaint, is the fact that Sasuke isn't wearing his "latest" outfit. But I'm not sure how up-to-date you are with the manga, so I won't mind. And in a way, I think this outfit fits it more. I'unno. I just think so.

I SERIOUSLY did not know what clothes he was wearing in the fic so I was really torn between. :--D

But then again the picture isn't exatly how it is in the fic so you can think him reading the card earlier or something. :-->

I was like 'Could she like it?? Could she like it??' so I'm really relieved you do.

I checked also that the fic wasn't too old because it would be like 'Oh I'm happy you did some fanart for this fc even though it's so old and I don't even like the fic anymore..' and I'd be kinda embarrased.

(I can show you the paper he's holding as a clearer one. :---D Drawing Sasuke on it was a lot of fun. My father liked it too. :'D I wasn't even sure if Sasuke on the card was coloured or anything so I used light colours.)

Writing the text on the card took me about 20 minutes even more even though you can't really see it in the finished one.

The hair isn't too difficult to draw or colour. : D

(Says the one who wrestled with it for about two hours.)

Just make its shape right and colour it with its real colours and then change the colours with colour balance.

Wow, awesome work! I'm glad brumal inspired someone enough to make them draw a fanart! (In case you don't read Authors' notes, I'm her beta-reader.)

And it's very obvious that you put a lot of work into this... The result is definitely worth it! I especially love the shadow effects. (Like Sasuke's fingers barely appearing on the other side of the card.)

It's not a specific scene from the story, though, is it? Since brumal mentioned the fact that the card had been "folded and unfolded an infinite amount of time", I suppose that scene is one of those?

Either way, it's a very beautiful picture. ^^

Hypocriiite. Saying I have a long reply and replying with a long one. D= But nah, I always write really long replies to things I like. If you only saw the reviews I leave on the stories of authors I really like. They resemble essays, actually. Haha. I'm so long-winded.

Waaah, I'm sorry for not realizing that it wasn't exactly like that in the fic. (LOL If you knew me better, you'll find out about my horrible memory.) But darn it, Nadra saw what the background was before me. No surprise there. She's always so incredibly nitpicky about details. But I apologize for mistaking the background! Sorry. I still like it. I had to squint a lot to see the sun. It's there--I see it. XD Now it looks like he's sitting on a tree looking at the sun. Yeah. Man, I have really bad eyesight or something-something.

Yeah, I'm actually such a mediocre writer that I don't think anyone would find the want or need to draw me something. XD I never thought someone would actually go out of their way to dedicate something to me. It was always the other way around. XDDD

But like I said, from the extent of my own skill level, it's pretty easy to see that I would be super pleased with this. XD

But aaah, I mean, even if you chose a story I didn't particularly like (But I'm super glad you didn't draw something for Defying the Norms of Society. That's like, on the blacklist for Nadra and me. D= Never want to mention it ever agaaain...) I would still really appreciate your thoughtfulness.

Oh, would it be okay if you gave me a clearer picture of the paper? I can only make out the first 'o' then a few 'no' after that but that's about it... D= And I'd like to see the little Sasuke you drew on there. XD

Yeaah, maybe I should mess with Color Balance sometimes. I don't really like using the "special effects" on PS, even though it'd be cool to experiment sometimes. Dang, just talking about it right now, I realize I haven't drawn/colored anything worthwhile on the computer. D= Sadness.
